Cookie Policy
Last updated: 1 September 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how Merenlo uses cookies and similar technologies on merenlo.co.uk.
It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
1. What are cookies and similar technologies?
Cookies are small files that a website may store on your browser or device. Similar technologies can include pixels, scripts, tags, local storage and other technologies that store information on, or access information from, your device.
These technologies can be used to operate a website, remember choices, provide security, measure website usage and support advertising or marketing.
2. How Merenlo uses these technologies
Merenlo uses cookies and similar technologies to:
- operate the website, cart and checkout;
- maintain sessions and security;
- help prevent fraud and technical misuse;
- remember cookie and consent preferences;
- provide payment functionality;
- provide order-tracking functionality;
- measure website performance where permitted;
- measure advertising and conversions where you have provided the required consent;
- support permitted marketing and attribution activities.
3. Cookie and technology categories
Strictly necessary
These technologies are required to provide services you request or to operate essential parts of the store, such as the cart, checkout, security, authentication, fraud prevention and recording your cookie preferences.
Where the applicable law permits, these technologies do not require consent.
Preferences
Preference technologies remember choices that affect how the website works for you.
Some preference technologies may be necessary to provide a feature you have specifically requested. Other optional preference technologies are controlled through the cookie-preference mechanism where applicable.
Analytics
Analytics technologies help us understand how visitors use the website and how the store performs.
For the Republic of Ireland, optional analytics technologies are used only where the required consent has been provided, unless a specific legal exemption applies.
Although UK law contains a limited statistical-purpose exception for certain narrowly configured analytics, Merenlo's current consent approach treats its optional Google Analytics and related measurement technologies as controlled through the cookie-preference mechanism.
Marketing and advertising
These technologies may measure advertising performance, attribute purchases to campaigns, create advertising audiences or otherwise support advertising.
Advertising and marketing tracking is not treated as strictly necessary and is used only after the required consent has been obtained.
4. Providers currently used
Based on Merenlo's confirmed storefront setup, the following material providers may use or support cookies and similar technologies:

5. Consent in the United Kingdom and Republic of Ireland
Merenlo uses Pandectes to manage cookie and tracking preferences.
Where optional consent is required, you can:
- accept optional technologies;
- decline optional technologies;
- manage available categories separately.
Continuing to browse the website is not treated as consent.
Optional advertising and other non-exempt tracking technologies must not be activated before the required consent has been provided.
In the United Kingdom, a limited legal exception can apply to technologies used solely for qualifying statistical purposes, provided the legal conditions for that exception are satisfied, including transparency and a simple way to object.
This exception does not apply to advertising tracking. Merenlo does not use the statistical-purpose exception as a basis for advertising technologies.
6. Changing or withdrawing your choice
You can change or withdraw your optional cookie choices at any time using the Cookie preferences control available on the website.
Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that was lawful before the withdrawal.
You can also use your browser settings to block or delete cookies. Browser controls may affect the operation of some website features.
7. Cookie and consent records
We may keep information necessary to record and demonstrate your cookie choices, such as the preference selected, consent status and related technical information.
These records are kept only for as long as reasonably necessary for consent management, compliance and security purposes.
8. Third-party processing
Some third-party technologies may result in information being sent to the relevant service provider.
Those providers may process information in accordance with their own privacy terms where they act independently for particular purposes. For more information about how personal information is shared and transferred, see our Privacy Policy.
9. Changes to this Cookie Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy when our cookie setup, providers, website configuration or legal requirements change.
The latest version will be published on this page with an updated revision date.
